In the summer, Robert Lewandowski decided to make a big change, fighting with all his might to be able to leave Bayern Munich. Eventually, the captain of the Polish national team got his way and became the hero of the transfer hit, joining FC Barcelona. “I didn’t want to play in the same league all my life. Everything was fine in the Bundesliga. I felt very good there, but I knew it was the right time to leave, move to La Liga and take the next step in my career,” explained Robert Lewandowski after moving to the Iberian Peninsula.
