Szymon Marciniak will fulfil his greatest professional dream and on Sunday he will lead the final of the football World Cup between Argentina and France. The Polish referee, for many years one of the leading referees in the world, five years ago was convinced that he would have the opportunity to whistle in the match for the World Cup.
The 41-year-old from Płock has been a referee on European pitches as well as in the Polish football league in Ekstraklasa for years.
